  I have just had one of the worst customer experiences ever. I went to buy a mouse and was checking the package which stated windows 10. I asked the staff in that section if it would work with windows 7 and he looked at the package. His answers was yes no worries. Two hours later after trying to install I found that it was not compatible. I returned it only to have to go through one of the worse customer service interactions I have every been through. I suggested that the maybe we should inform the team that advised me that it doesn't work with windows 7 and she just looked at me with a confused look. So then the credit process started. I have to go through three process to returm something that doesn't work as stated. I get having to provide the same credit card but a drivers licence and anothe form for my name and signature. All captured in different places. If you want Amazon to win it will be easy if you continue to treat customers the way you do. The last and final issues is my product review was rejected which forced to write this review.

  This was my first time shopping there. I could have bought the same items from Harvey Norman for a lower price.

  The overweight sad looking woman at the check out made an audible sigh as I approached the counter. As I was making my payment I told them in a gleeful manner that I was very glad they had the product in stock. Another store attendant showed her miserable stoic face and said "we're glad for you too, mate" in a flat and condescending tone.

  I could operate the check out myself, their only job is to be a friendly human presence and they failed at that job. Shouldn't be getting paid.

  Full and busy shop, laid out just like other JB hifi stores. We were investigating headphones, and were pleased to find working models to try. However, staff had parked a ladder in front of part of the display, and didn't attempt to serve us at all. So we ended up shopping elsewhere.

  Strangely, I just wrote an almost identical review of the JB at Essendon, which was a different chapter in this same shopping project. We were most amused when they pulled the ladder trick at this store too. Maybe that's where you find the really good merch?
